Hello
Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about the Musgrave & Essenwood UIP initiative. This is a community-driven effort built on the belief that we are stronger when we work together. Through shared commitment, care, and action, we can help make Musgrave a cleaner, safer, and better-managed area for everyone who lives, works, studies, and invests here.
Meet our Team
The Musgrave & Essenwood UIP initiative is currently being guided by a steering committee made up of committed stakeholders working to help establish the precinct on a lawful, accountable, and community-focused basis.

The steering committee is aligned around a common goal: to help bring the UIP to life through responsible planning, community engagement, stakeholder participation, and sound governance.

The proposed UIP is intended to operate through a registered non-profit company structure, with governance mechanisms designed to support transparency, accountability, and service delivery oversight.

The initiative is apolitical. It is not aligned to any political party and is being advanced in the interests of the area, its property owners, residents, businesses, institutions, and long-term urban wellbeing.

The role of the steering committee at this stage includes:
-
coordinating the establishment process;
-
engaging with stakeholders and property owners;
-
supporting the assent and awareness campaign;
-
helping shape the service priorities and implementation vision;
-
laying the groundwork for a formal and sustainable precinct structure.

As the process develops, the names and profiles of steering committee members and office-bearers will be published here.
