Security operations will work in coordination with SAPS, existing private security providers and relevant authorities to ensure effective response and reporting.
Maintain Clean and Orderly Streets
The UIP will implement structured daily cleaning services across the precinct. This includes litter removal, monitoring and clearing of illegal dumping, and general upkeep of pavements and public areas.

The objective is to prevent visible decline, improve the appearance of the area, and create a clean environment that supports both residential living and commercial activity.
Enhance the Urban Environment
The UIP will oversee the maintenance of verges, trees and public spaces within the precinct. Beautification initiatives will be implemented to uplift the streetscape and improve the overall visual quality of the neighbourhood.
The objective is to create an attractive and welcoming environment that encourages foot traffic, supports businesses and strengthens property demand.
Strengthen Service Delivery Coordination
The UIP will actively report municipal faults and infrastructure issues. Matters such as lighting failures, potholes, water leaks and other service concerns will be tracked and followed up until resolved.
The objective is to improve accountability and ensure faster response times through structured monitoring and escalation processes.
Protect and Grow Property Value
Through improved safety, cleanliness and coordinated management, the UIP aims to safeguard long-term property investment in Musgrave & Essenwood.
